Ipad App Review
App #1 "MathBoard"
This App is a high effecient and reliable source. This app enables you to do the math work, while learning the correct way to solve the problem. Mathboard is a fantastic math learning tool for your IPad. This is a stunning app for teaching addition, subtractioin, multiplication, and division problems. This app is appropriate for all age groups. This app also offers a problem solver, which will explain step by step the ways to solve each type of problem ranging from addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
While using this app you will notice all its extra features which are very helpful. One feature includes quiz taking, you are able to time yourself while take a quiz and if you solve a problem wrong it will show you the missed problem and the correct answer. Overall this App is a great way to solve, teach, and learn math problems, i highly recommend using this app in future classroom activities. I believe students these days are looking for a new and interesting way to learn, this app would allow students to learn while achieving there mathematical potential.
App #2 "SpellBoard"
Spellboard is an excellent way to practice spelling words. This App provides a fast and intuitive way for you to enter your list of spelling words. You are now able to generate a word search or word scramble puzzles from any spelling lists. This is a favorite among younger age groups. Another feature that is considered a great way to study is the quiz mode, you are able to create any spelling quiz in any language and attempt the quiz in a timely fashion.
I believe this is a great feature and can help in many different way, especially by raising grades. This app allows for multiple student profiles so you can track the performance of any student across any numbers of quizzes. This feature would be excellent for teachers who like to keep track of their students progress. One of my favorite features in this app would be the study mode. This feature allows you too walk through a quiz seeing and hearing the word and phrase.
You can practice writing the word or even connect to Wordnik to get a definition for the word. Overall i believe this app is a great way for students to be successful in there spelling ability, and for teachers to provide a better understanding of how you can study for spelling test.
